NYC or Failed Units
If a student fails to achieve a COM overall in a unit, he or she will receive a permanent NYC on his or her record of studies.
If the student then wishes to pass the unit, he or she must re-enrol and resubmit all forms of assessment required by the trainer/assessor. If approved by the relevant course director, and if the NYC grade was not the result of poor attendance, the student may not be required to attend classes.
